The Media Office of Madaba Municipality

The Municipality of Madaba conducted a cleanliness campaign as part of its daily and ongoing efforts, which included the tourist airstrip and its surrounding areas frequented by citizens and visitors from all over the province.

The Media Office at the Madaba Municipality stated that the cleaning of the airstrip and its surrounding areas is continuous and almost daily to maintain its beauty for visitors, as it overlooks important sites such as the Dead Sea and the western coastal areas.

The Media Office further mentioned that tons of waste, debris, stone remnants, tree branches, and grass were removed and sent to the landfill for disposal.
