1. Preparing street planning, organization and modification projects and following them up until final approval and uploading them to the signs.
2. Monitor the general appearance and facades of buildings and take measures to ensure this. 3. Preparing a study on the beautification of entrances, streets and sidewalks. 4. Coordination with municipalities and other entities to benefit from their expertise. 5. Develop training programs, raise efficiency, and participate in seminars and conferences. 6. Supervising subordinate departments and ensuring that employees carry out their work. 7. Follow up with the directors of the municipality’s regions. 8. Prepare a plan to develop tourism in the city. 9. Recommending the collection of the organization’s returns. 10. Evaluation of employees affiliated with the Directorate. 11. Addressing the official authorities against those who violate the provisions of the organization.
Buildings Department tasks:
1. Arranging the transactions for secretion, licensing, work permits, and the return of deposits 2. Approval of plans related to licenses and secrets 3. Auditing and certifying transaction fees 4. Coordination of the work of the organization’s monitors 5. Conduct field trips to follow up on the work of infrastructure monitors
Duties of building supervisors: 1. Study and audit license applications 2. Calculate licensing transaction fees 3. Monitor the construction of buildings, confirm the licenses granted, take the necessary measures against violators, and follow up on those procedures. 4. Examining requests for the return of deposits and occupancy permits after ensuring compliance with the license and removing the rubble 5. Monitoring the debris in general and writing to the organization director about this 6. Monitoring construction teachers and writing to them in case they violate the system
Tasks of the drawing and surveying department
1. Giving registrations to buildings and streets according to licenses 2. Preparing information related to the city’s regulated and unorganized area and any regulatory studies that serve expansion 3. Carrying out the field work needed by the modifications in terms of downloading the buildings or the necessary information 4. Straightening the streets, sidewalks, telephone poles, electricity, and water networks in coordination with the works engineer. 5. Auditing secretion, expropriation and compensation transactions 6. Drawing and checking site plans and demarcations 7. Download the proposed amendments to the organizational chart 8. Save organizational charts and secretory boards
Duties of the Waste and Repossession Department:
1. Open a file for each expropriation or surplus transaction, save it, and index it 2. Preparing expropriation and waste transactions, demarcating them, and following up and monitoring their procedures 3. Preparing statements of municipal property and following up on the completion of its transactions 4. Open the regulatory returns file and download it to the computer
Tasks of the Study and Documentation Department
1. Working on the city memory project in terms of collecting and preserving documents and photos and cooperating with various parties to make the project a success 2. Studies related to heritage buildings 3. Studies related to the municipality’s role in tourism issues 4. Coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the body preparing the project to develop Madaba’s tourist and urban center and architectural designs. 5. Preparing studies and developing proposals for beautification and improving the general view of the city of Madaba 6. Preparing to participate in the King Abdullah II Award within the axis of the role of the Arab city in developing the cultural and architectural heritage.
Regulatory office tasks
1. Preparing local committee agendas, attending them, and recording decisions 2. Save the building permit files, index them, and download them to the computer 3. Preserving books issued and received by the Organization Directorate 4. Updating the files at the Organization Bureau and replacing them with reinforced files 5.
