Tasks and Duties of the District Manager
District Manager: An engineer supervising the functional apparatus to ensure efficiency within the district.
Monitoring all administrative, organizational, health-related matters, and all relevant district affairs.
Office Duties:
(a) Chief of Staff: Supervising administrative tasks and their execution.
(b) Office Clerk: Maintaining records, managing incoming and outgoing documents, and employee files.
(c) Printer: Printing essential documents for the district and maintaining printing equipment.
(d) Attendance Supervisor: Monitoring employee attendance, recording tardiness, official leaves, and maintaining leave records.
(e) Librarian: Managing the library, cataloging books, lending books, and maintaining borrowing records.
(f) Division Supervisor: Handling incoming calls, ensuring official communications, and maintaining office readiness.
(g) Correspondent: Maintaining office cleanliness, opening/closing the main door.
Financial Department: Collecting revenues and forwarding them to the central office, overseeing revenue collection.
Organization Department: Supervising organizational matters, with assistance from the district surveyor, and leading the organizational committee.
Health and Public Safety Department: Monitoring public health, inspecting water tanks, drainage systems, and inspecting food items in commercial stores.
Supplies Department: Managing district supplies, maintaining supply records, and monitoring supply needs.
Employee Affairs Tasks and Duties:
Employee affairs handle the following tasks and responsibilities:
Advertising job vacancies in the municipality and disseminating them through media outlets.
Receiving job applications, organizing them for review by relevant committees, and inviting eligible candidates for interviews.
Completing the hiring process for selected candidates, organizing and regulating procedures accordingly.
Supervising the organization of various records and employee files in the municipality, ensuring the preservation of all relevant information.
Preparing documents related to appointments, promotions, annual increments, and other personnel matters in compliance with regulations.
Collaborating with the finance department on staffing schedules.
Implementing all types of employee leaves.
Monitoring and executing reports concerning employees forwarded by departments to the employee affairs department.
Issuing health insurance cards for employees.
Preparing deduction statements and sending them to the finance department.
